Yanni Spiropoulos is the Founder and Managing Partner of OCTANE Management Consultants. Yanni has worked for more than 20 years in consulting in Greece and in the United Kingdom.
Prior to founding OCTANE in 2007, Yanni was Director in Charge at KANTOR Management Consultants, serving as head of the company’s Private Sector Consulting as well as its Human Resource Services Divisions. He has also held senior level positions at JWThompson Hellas and Booz Allen & Hamilton in London.
Yanni has led a wide-ranging variety of assignments involving corporate strategy, market and competition analysis, customer management, acquisition support, post-merger integration, performance improvement, restructuring, change management etc. for some of the largest multinational and Greek companies. He has also served as a coach, mentor and evaluator for several family business owners, CEOs, start-ups and entrepreneurs.

George Pavlatos is a founder and Senior Partner of OCTANE Management Consultants.
George possesses more than 14 years of consulting experience with Octane and previously with KANTOR Management Consultants, focusing on creating actionable strategies for clients ranging from startups to multinationals.
He has directed several strategy and restructuring projects for clients such as S&B, Emporiki-Credit Agricole, Hellenic Petroleum, Eurobank, ERGO Insurance, and has carried out a multitude of other engagements in Banking, Telecoms, Transport, Energy, Food, Retail, FMCG and Heavy Industry for clients in Greece and the Balkans.
He possesses extensive experience in Change Management, having assisted a number of private and public organizations to design complex change programmes and successfully manage their implementation from start to finish.
He has also successfully supported a large number of established and startup companies in strategy design, competition and market analysis, business planning and fundraising.
He holds a Masters of Engineering from the University of Durham and an MBA from INSEAD.
Dimitris Christacopoulos has led a 15-year career in banking and consulting in Greece, the United Kingdom, and the United States (Fortis Bank, Barclays Capital, Booz Allen & Hamilton). He is a Senior Partner of OCTANE Management Consultants.
Prior to joining OCTANE, Dimitris served for six years as the Deputy Country Head and Director of Energy and Project Finance for Fortis Bank in Athens. He was responsible for the set-up and management of the Greek Branch, and provided corporate finance, project financing, and corporate lending services to some of the leading energy and shipping companies in Greece and Turkey,.
Dimitris has also held managerial positions with Barclays Capital in London and Booz Allen & Hamilton Consulting in New York. For the latter, he led mixed consultant-client project teams in assignments in the U.S., South America, Europe, and Asia for some of the world’s largest organizations across various industries (energy, financial services, chemicals & pharmaceuticals, etc.), assisting them in the areas of strategic realignment, operational efficiency, and business process reengineering.
He holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.
Maria Kefala is a Director at OCTANE Management Consultants.
Maria has worked on several projects with emphasis on corporate organization and corporate strategy in a number of industries primarily real estate, wholesale, energy, and banking.
Prior to joining OCTANE, Maria held internships at WWF Hellas and Imerisia Online.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics with a minor concentration in Government from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Ioannis joined OCTANE on 2019 and since then he has managed a number of projects in the Banking and Finance sector having advised Banks, Private Equity firms, NPL servicers, Payment Institutions, EMIs and Fintech companies in various assignments.
Prior to joining Octane Ioannis has worked for 6 years in Rubix group international the largest European industrial distributor where most recently he held the position of European Key Account Development Manager, managing a customer portfolio of 10m € in the automotive and pharmaceutical sector.
He holds an MBA from IE business school. He also holds and Msc in Logistics and Supply chain management from Cranfield School of Management and a Bsc in Financial and Management Engineering from the University of the Aegean (Chios). He has been a competitive swimmer in his earlier years and a member of the Greek National swimming team.In his free time he enjoys travelling and playing golf.
Eleonora Tsampaou is a Senior Manager at OCTANE Management Consultants.
She has more than 18 years of experience in developing and managing EU-funded programmes and public sector projects, mainly targeting regional development, innovation and competitiveness.
Prior to joining OCTANE, Eleonora worked as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager, providing consultancy and programme management services in several sectors, including environment and resource efficiency, blue economy and digital technologies. From 2011 until 2015, she accumulated significant experience in monitoring large-scale state-aid programmes, targeting business support and technology transfer, working at a Managing Authority of ERDF funds in the microelectronics sector. Previously from 2002 until 2010, Eleonora specialized in the development of projects in the creative sector internationally and coordinated the European projects department at the National Book Centre of Greece (non for profit organization, Ministry of Culture), also being responsible for networking events during the Greek Presidencies of the EU. She also served as a trainee at the Directorate General Trade of the European Commission (Antidumping Service) and provided expertise as evaluator for the European Commission and the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation.

Prior to joining OCTANE, Pinelopi worked for 2 years in the purchasing department of a multinational pharmaceutical company and for 2 years in the accounting department of an Information Technology company.

Marilena has 6 years of project management experience in London working on several multi-disciplinary projects varying from infrastructure and technical rail, aviation and road projects to multi-million fit-out projects for public sector clients and private organisations.
Prior to joining OCTANE, Marilena has worked at Lendlease Consulting as Commercial and Project Manager assigned to work for various clients including Transport for London (TfL) and Network Rail where she was responsible for managing Telecoms, Systems upgrade and Fleet Overhaul projects throughout all lifecycle stages from tender stage and contract award to design and implementation and finally project closure and handover.

Konstantinos Bischiniotis is a Consultant at Octane Management Consultants.
Prior to joining Octane, Konstantinos worked as a Management Consultant at Stanton Chase International with a focus on Strategic Digital Transformation & Innovation projects for major clients in various sectors. He was responsible for implementing solutions in order for clients to reach their desired level of digital transformation. Moreover, before Stanton Chase Konstantinos was part of Dialectica Client Strategy Team where he gained solid project management and stakeholder management experience as he collaborated with Top-Tier Strategy Consulting firms abroad and assisted them achieve M&A deals. Konstantinos started his professional career at AKTOR SA as an Engineering Consultant for the construction of the METRO in Thessaloniki.

Evie is a maritime economist, specialising in port policy, strategy, and development. She has experience as a Researcher/Business Consultant and has been involved in several national, and international projects, dealing with ports and maritime supply chains, such as the EU-funded project “Ports Observatory for Performance Indicators Analysis” (PORTOPIA), in collaboration with the European Seaports Organisation (ESPO).
She has studied Business Administration at the University of Piraeus and holds a master’s degree in Maritime Studies from the University of Piraeus, as well as a master’s degree in Transport and Maritime Economics from the University of Antwerp.

Petros Gioras is a Consultant at Octane Management Consultants
Prior to joining OCTANE, Petros worked for three years as a sales manager in his family’s business, where he managed the sales and business development for HVAC systems and sanitary equipment and was responsible for the import department. He has also worked for a NGO project during his postgraduate studies.
Petros graduated from the Department of Production and Management Engineering of the Democritus University of Thrace. He participated in the Erasmus program for a semester at BME in Budapest. He holds an MBA in finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
Athanasios Chronopoulos is a Consultant at OCTANE Management Consultants.
Prior to joining OCTANE, Athanasios has worked in Strategy & Transaction department at Ernst & Young, as a Financial Analyst in transaction deals for various financial due diligence projects

Prior to joining Octane, Konstantinos had his internship at Belnav Inc. as a Trainee Chartering Shipbroker for four months. Before that he was an Assistant Advisor in Financial Services at Grant Thornton where he conducted operational audits for restructuring / legal portfolios. He has also worked as an Assistant Product Manager Books at Public, where he was responsible for store feedback, stock availability and ordering.

Sofoklis Koukos is a Senior Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
During his undergraduate studies at University of Piraeus, the department of Banking and Financial Management, Sofoklis worked as a volunteer tutor, preparing his colleagues for examination periods by putting theory into practice through exercises and case studies, under real-life exam conditions.
After finishing his Bachelor, Sofoklis spent 9 months in Evros for his military services, defending the borderline and helping refugees in need. Shortly after, he found a position at Grant Thornton as an Assistant Advisor where his main duties involved the collection, organization and analysis of large datasets of mortgage loans for a major bank in Greece.
On September of 2019, he decided to take the next step in his career by doing a Master degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance at Cass Business School. In addition, he was selected by the school’s committee to receive a part scholarship from Stelios Philanthropic Foundation. Lastly, the first half of 2020, Sofoklis was occupied as a personal assistant to a Senior Advisor and Managing Director at a financial services firm in London, where he was responsible for market research and financial modeling.
Georgios Katsikas is a Senior Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
Prior to joining Octane, Georgios worked at Diadikasia Business Consulting for 2 years, where he provided consultancy services in energy-related projects funded by the EU. Additionally, he spent a year working for the Danish Refugee Council and conducted a 6-month Erasmus+ internship at the Hellenic Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels, where he attended several working groups at the Council of the EU and acted as an official delegate of the Hellenic Republic in various fora and events.
Georgios holds a Bachelor's degree in International and European studies from Panteion University of Athens, as well as a Master's degree in International Political Economy from the University of Groningen. Furthermore, he spent a semester as an exchange student at the University of Ljubljana, as part of his undergraduate degree. He is currently a PhD candidate in European Political Economy at Panteion University of Athens.

Andreas Kutsuridis is a Senior Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
He has worked in National Bank of Greece as a Retail and Premium banker, since 2019. As a certified Premium banker, he provided personalized services to a preferred and high-wealth segment of the clientele with the goal to reach the client’s financial ambitions through a wide range of investment and bancassurance products. His main tasks entailed advisory on financial services and portfolio management. This professional experience was part of a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) which was granted during his master’s studies. Prior to this professional experience he has collaborated shortly, as an external partner, with the Hellenic Organization of Tourism in Helsinki, Finland.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in management and business administration from the University of Macedonia. He had his postgraduate studies in the International Hellenic University in the fields of the environmental management and sustainability. Due to his interest in the fields of Finance he participated in the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis (FMVA) certification program of the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI).
Andreas, as a Greek-Finn, speaks Greek and Finnish. He is also a fluent speaker of French and English. In his spare-time he enjoys playing music, doing sports and volunteering in NGO initiatives towards environmental and social issues.
Ioannis Christodoulopoulos is an Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
Prior to joining OCTANE, he completed two internships at Westnet Distribution (Olympia Group) as International Sales Assistant and at Athens Exchange Group as Project Management Intern. Ioannis contributed to various sales and consulting meetings, focusing on the behavior of the Greek listed firms and accumulating experience in financial analysis and business research.
Ioannis graduated with excellence from his Bachelor’s degree in Economics Science at the University of Peloponnese and completed a Minor degree in International Business at Deree – The American College of Greece. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted substantial projects in the economic governance of the EU and in business investment strategy and development topics.
In parallel with his studies, he was involved in the UN sustainable development agenda of 2030, as Secretary-General at the University of Peloponnese. Ioannis is also particularly interested in the transactions industry, while in his spare time, he enjoys traveling and playing tennis.
Ilias-Marios Koufogeorgos is an analyst. He holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He is currently a postgraduate student in the M.B.A. program, of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
Prior to joining OCTANE, he mainly taught private lessons in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry to Junior High School and High School students. He has also worked as a Chemical Analyst, in two different occasions. The first one was during his studies at the National Technical University of Athens, where he was involved in food analysis and the second one during his military service, at the Greek Army Laboratory, where he dealt with the analysis of the fuel used by the army.

Evangelos Stachikas is an Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
Evangelos is a Political Science and Public Administration graduate from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a specialization in Public Administration. During his academic years he assumed parallel studies in the American College of Greece, in the field of Communication, from where he graduated with first-class honors distinction while being the recipient of a merit scholarship. He also holds international academic experience from the KU Leuven.
As a professional, Evangelos has vigorously employed himself in the private sector. Prior to joining Octane, he worked as a sector studies researcher in Stochasis Consultancy where he carried out various projects recording the sustainability of a sector within the Greek and international market, while highlighting investment opportunities for clients. Furthermore, he has served as a policy advisor for a Member Parliament of the incumbent party, facilitating the office in the means of parliamentary control, speechwriting, developing campaign strategies and managing the social media presence of the MP.

Nikolas Komodromos is an Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from the University of Surrey and a Master’s degree in Marketing from the Queen Mary University of London, in the United Kingdom. At the moment, he is a postgraduate student at Athens University of Economics and Business in Greece, studying International Business Economics.
Before joining Octane Management Consultants, he completed a Project Consulting internship for a Non-profit Organisation in London, a Marketing internship in a Destination Management Company in Limassol and two internships in the Hotel Industry of Cyprus. During his studies, his passion for delivering the best possible innovative service to customers led him to create an online shop selling electronics.

Dimitra Tzia is an Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
As a professional Dimitra started her career as a journalist / blogger for various Greek sites and newspapers (e.g. Huffington Post). Since 2021, her focus is on consulting and project management starting at PwC as an Associate – Public Sector and Guidepoint as Client Service Associate. Finally, she served as an Intern at the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Dimitra is an International Relations & Strategic Studies postgraduate from Panteion University. During her academic years she was a Researcher and Team Leader at the Institute of International Relations, and she was recipient of a scholarship from the National Scholarships Foundation.

Theodora Kavvadia is an Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
She started her academic course in education and soon she started developing herself in Counseling Psychology and Counseling in the field of education, Public Health and Labour, successfully completing her postgraduate studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She has gained considerable experience in the organization and planning of actions for the development of social services in Local Governments, in the context of the implementation of European Programs. She is a member of the research team of the University of Patras and she has been an organizer and speaker of seminars in collaboration with the Liaison Office of the University of Athens. She continues her research and academic course in the fields of Digital Governance, the design of Interactive Systems and Virtual Reality Environments.

Silia Paraskevopoulou is an Analyst.
She launched her professional career in the advertising industry as a copywriter for Rascal, the leading multidisciplinary communications company in Greece. At Rascal, Silia was responsible for the engagement of multiple stakeholders at various seniority levels, market research, analysis of customer profiles as well as the design of bespoke marketing campaigns for national and international corporate clients. She has also worked as a sales representative in the Energy Sector, conducting efficient and effective customer service.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics from the University of East Anglia in the UK. During her studies, she specialised in Governance structures of institutions in the UK and the US while her dissertation focused on digital methods of foreign interference in the 2020 US elections.

Maria holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science and biomedical informatics from the University of Thessaly.
Prior to joining OCTANE, she worked as a congress and event planner and as a marketing assistant in Athens and as an assistant store manager in Cyprus.
Maria has a passion for volunteering and helping communities in need as well as the preservation of the environment. During her university studies she co-founded a voluntary community working on various projects assisting those in need and is a long term passionate member of Aegean Rebreath, an NGO with the mission to decontaminate and preserve the beauties of the Greek sea.
Martha Gkika is an Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
She holds a Bachelor degree in Political Science from the Democritus University of Thrace. She is currently completing her postgraduate studies in International Governance and Politics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Before OCTANE, Martha was an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Directorate for European Integration, Economic and Monetary Policy. She is currently a research trainee at the Institute of International Relations in the Russia, Eurasia and Southeast Europe Section.
In her free time, she likes to travel and swim.
Anna Nguyen is an Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
Prior to joining Octane Anna has completed two internships, the first at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece in the Directorate of Economic Relations with EU countries, North America, EEA, Oceania, Japan and Switzerland and the second in the Institute of International Economic Relations.
During her studies, Anna has been writing articles in websites with the most recent being offlinepost.gr where she was also an Editor-in-Chief.
Anna's academic path began in the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus from which she obtained her Bachelor degree. Afterwards, she continued her studies by pursuing a Master's in International Politics in the KU Leuven in Belgium.
In her free time, Anna enjoys taking photos and playing volleyball.
Penny Tzanetou is an Analyst at Octane Management Consultants.
Penny has professional experience in the private and public sectors as well as NGOs. She has published her own research on international security and strives to deliver meaningful impact through her daily work. She likes to constantly learn new things and enjoys volunteering for environmental and social causes.
Penny has graduated from the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Piraeus. Moreover, she has studied Human Resource Management at Deree - The American College of Greece, where she was a Stavros Niarchos Foundation scholar. She is fluent in Greek and English, and speaks German and Arabic.

Georgia Malakasioti, is the assistant of the Office Manager for OCTANE Management Consultants.
Georgia is a highly experienced office professional with over 14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She has a proven track record of success in roles such as secretary and sales administrator, where she was responsible for managing multi-line telephone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the staff schedule, teleconferences, and travel.
Georgia is fluent in Greek, English, and Spanish, making her an asset to any team in need of strong communication skills and language proficiency.
