Key Objectives
- Conduct a complete process mapping and redesign for a bank and to provide PMO staffing and support for the implementation of its new operating model and IT system
Our Approach
- Exhaustively identified and map all processes involved in the operation of the bank’s liquidation and then focus on the redesign and improvement of efficiency and control of the “core” processes of the Bad Bank
- Carried out a detailed process mapping and redesign exercise, proposing targeted improvements to specific processes
- Recommended core improvements to the Liquidation’s high-level operating model, particularly dealing with Loan Administration and process flow (centralization of specific LA functions formerly executed at the Branches)
- Developed structured SLAs both internally and externally
- Design and staffed a PMO office that monitored and facilitated the implementation of the new operating model, processes and IT system
Impact for our Client
- Significant improvement in restructuring implementation performance, improved process efficiency and monitoring leading to the use of the bank’s servicing platform as the base for the consolidation of all Bad Banks under a single liquidator
